The Temple Beth Shalom Brotherhood was inspired by many of the ideas and ideals from the Membership Committee in the summer of 2007. In its first year, the Brotherhood has been involved with numerous service, fund raising, and fellowship projects and events. Included in these have been ushering at High Holy Days, pancake breakfast, Super Bowl Fund Raiser, 2 pre-service Sabbath Dinners and outings to the show Jewtopia in Tampa and to the Lakeland Flying Tigers Baseball games.
A moving Brotherhood Sabbath Service was held in February, saluting the new Brotherhood organization.
Monthly Breakfast meeting have been held and will resume in the Fall.

Sisterhood Temple Beth Shalom Sisterhood News by Lois Levine
The Temple Beth Shalom Sisterhood will hold its next general meeting on Wednesday, December 17th. Our Application for Charter has been sent to the national office of Women of Reform Judaism and will be processed in a timely manner. We will meet the third Wednesday of each month at the temple. Officers are President Lois Levine, Treasurer Diana Glockner, and Secretary Susan Zwerling.
The Sisterhood will now be coordinating the hostess/host of the Onegs. Sandi Grinker is in charge of the scheduling/coordination.
We hope to present various programs of interest and look forward to a year of exploration.
Membership in the TBS Sisterhood is open to all women 18 years or older, whether or not you are a member of the temple. Come join us!
